At Slumber Avenue, we want you to love your purchase. That's why we offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, you can return your item within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the terms below.
This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Shipping Policy. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see "Your Consumer Rights" below).
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. To be eligible:
- The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
- You must have proof of purchase (your order number or confirmation email).
Change-of-mind returns that arrive used, damaged by the customer, or missing original packaging may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.
Cancelling an Order
Need to cancel? Email us as soon as possible at slumberavenue@gmail.com with your order number. If we receive your request before your order has been processed for shipping, we'll cancel it and issue a full refund. Once an order has been processed, it can no longer be cancelled — you'll need to wait for delivery and then return the item to us in its original packaging, following the steps below, before a refund can be issued.
How to Start a Return
To begin a return, email us at slumberavenue@gmail.com with:
- Your order number.
- The item(s) you'd like to return.
- The reason for your return.
We'll respond with return instructions and the return address. Please do not send items back before contacting us — returns sent without prior approval may not be processed.
Return Shipping Costs
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Original shipping is not charged on our orders, so nothing is deducted there, but return postage is at your own expense.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us at slumberavenue@gmail.com within a reasonable time of delivery, with your order number and photos where relevant.
In these cases:
- We cover the cost of return shipping.
- The "unused and in original packaging" condition does not apply.
- You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Exchanges
We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return your original order for a refund (subject to this policy) and place a new order.
Non-Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned once opened or used unless they are faulty. Any such items will be clearly noted on the product page. Gift cards and final-sale items (where marked) are also non-returnable.
Your Consumer Rights (Australian Consumer Law)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not limit, these rights.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received an approved refund within the expected timeframe, please first check with your bank or card provider, as processing times vary. If you've done this and still haven't received your refund, contact us at slumberavenue@gmail.com and we'll help track it down.
